How to Apply to Academia Avance

Students can enroll for the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades for the 2008 – 2009 academic year.

Avance has an open enrollment policy set by capacity for the middle school grades. There are no residency nor academics requirements. Openings for the middle school grades are filled from the waiting list for a grade. The order of the list is set on Inscription Day.

1. Attend An Orientation Session

Learn about the school, its mission, and the inscription process and rules.

Orientations will be held on the following Saturdays at 9am – 10am in the school gym:

March 1, 8, 15, 29 or April 5

2. Attend Inscription Day: April 12, 9 a.m.

Applications must be stamped “complete” to participate in the grade level public random drawing.

A parent must sign the stamped completed application and be present at the school on Inscription Day to qualify.

3. Waiting List

Interested students not included in the Avance candidates list on Inscription Day will be added to the waiting list for consideration.
