  2. Communications
    1. Public Comment on Agenda Items At this time the board will hear comments from members of the public who wish to speak on an agenda item. Public comment on each item may be limited by the Board based opn the number of speakers who wish to be heard. Members of the public who wish to speak on an item should contact the central office directions on process and to establish their order of speaking.
    2. Public Comment on Non-Agenda Items At this time members of the public may bring up an item not on the agenda. Board members will hear the item but may not comment or take any action. Board members may ask that the item be placed on a future agenda. The Board may limit the time allocated for such comment and interested members of the public should follow the procedures outlined above for “Agenda Items.”
    3. For Information: Report on progress on the academic program for the Fall semester presented by the Principal.
    4. For Information: Report on oversight agency communications presented by the Chief of Administration and Operations.
    5. For Information: Financial report presented by ExED.
    6. For Information: Facilities report presented by Chief of Administration and Operations.
    7. For Information: Review of progress on development plan by Executive Director.

    1. Re-election of Board Members to the Avance Executive Board.
    2. Induction of new members to Avance Executive Board.
    3. Installation of new officers of the Avance Executive Board.
    4. Approve interim financial report for Quarter 1 of FY 2006-2007.
    5. Approve audit for FY 2006-2007.
    6. Approve LEA Plan for submission to the CDE.
    7. Approve amendment to the Academia Avance charter requesting a material revision for extension to June 30, 2010.
